چکیده

Field experiments were conducted at two different geographical regions viz., tropical region (Naraseepuram village, Coimbatore) and temperate (Kookal Kotagiri, The Nilgiris) in summer winter season’s to assess the bioefficacy of insecticides used against Diamondbackmoth (DBM), Plutella xylostella their potential impact on natural enemies cauliflower. results revealed that diamide like cyantraniliprole 10.26 OD @ 60 g a.i ha-1, chlorantraniliprole 18.50 SC 10 ha-1 flubendiamide 20 WG 18.24 registered more than 95 percent population reduction over untreated control followed by emamectin benzoate 5 SG thiodicarb 75 WP 750 ha-1. Quinalphos 25 EC 500 ha-1and chlorpyriphos 400 observed as least effective among treated insecticides. recorded considerably less toxic effect enemies, especially spiders coccinellids. Population was noticed immediately after insecticide spray but it gradually increased par with population. Hence, can be component integrated pest management DBM cole crops.

Relative toxicity and residual activity of insecticides used in blueberry pest management: mortality of natural enemies.

A series of bioassays were conducted to determine the relative toxicities and residual activities of insecticides labeled for use in blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum L.) on natural enemies, to identify products with low toxicity or short duration effects on biological control agents. In total, 14 insecticides were evaluated using treated petri dishes and four commercially available natural enemi...
